Admission criteria

Applicants must send their application form with all the following information:

  • certified copies, certified translation into French of diplomas and actual status.
  • Attestation of the language competence to teach (DALD C1 in French, ZMP in German, CELl 4 in Italian). The language proficiency will determine the University of destination.
  • Up-to-date CV in French or in English with 3 photos.
  • The applicant must send a motivation letter written in one of the consortium language and provided in 2 copies (one handwritten and one typed) explaining his/her researches in accordance with the MaCLands field. The applicant must also add his 4 last publications.
  • 2 letters of reference in one of the consortium language. One letter at least should be written by the applicant direct Manager.
  • Applicants should indicate an order of preference for the 3 institutions of the consortium. This choice must be justified by the applicant’s research and its relevance with the host research centres of the partner universities.
  • The application form completed and signed


The consortium will select 4 applicants to be despatched within the 3 universities according to the applicant’s wishes and their research profile.
4 Erasmus Mundus scholarship are available for third countries scholars.

  • Excellence of the applicant’s records
  • Excellence of the applicant research centre
  • Motivation (confirmed by the research project which must bring a high value to the hosting centre, seminar propositions, projects to develop profitable collaborations between research centres, setting up of an excellence network, etc…)
  • Teaching skills
  • Language skills
     

Scholarship

If you are a non-European scholar or researcher specialized in the field of cultural landscapes, heritage and memory, you can apply for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship based on merit.

The amount of the scholarship is from 2400 € for a 2-weeks stay up to 14 400 € for a 3-months stay.
It covers travel, housing and living expenses in Europe during the length of your research or teaching assignment.
